Autumn by Paru
The wind charges at her
brushing her beautiful coat off.
She stands there quietly
and as still as a statue.
Her long arms flow through the wind
as she cries tears of leaves.
She stands there as the winter breeze grazes her skin.
“WOOHOO!” she shouts.
She is proud that she survived the winter.
Slowly her bright green coat grows back covering her skin
